裘槎基金會

The Croucher Foundation 裘槎基金會 is one of the few professionally-run local foundations supporting scientific advancement in Hong Kong. I'm lucky to get to know the personnel of the Foundation, and I'm really impressed by not only the way the Foundation is being run, but also its effort to contribute to the healthy development of the philanthropy sector in Hong Kong.

裘槎頒獎禮男女平分秋色

【明報專訊】...本港昨日舉行的裘槎基金會05/06年度頒獎禮上，9名得獎學者及博士生中，4名為女性，得獎女教授呼籲女士勿放棄事業，認為女士做科研不會較男士遜色。

...奪得「優秀科研者獎」的8名學者分別來自中大、港大、科大及城大。他們會獲約10萬美元科學獎，以資助所屬院校另聘講師代替得獎者日常教職半年或一年，令他們可專心投入研究工作。
